In this appeal of his sexual assault conviction by a jury, appellant Willie Ray Crawford presents a sole issue: whether the trial court erred in allowing a Dallas police officer to testify concerning statements made to him by the complainant.As a basis for reversal, appellant relies exclusively on the recent United States Supreme Court case of Crawford v.
